We flew into the San Diego backcountry to get video and stills of the South Rim Conservation Area. SDRPF is dedicated to conserving critically important lands in the Upper San Diego River watershed. These lands are valuable, providing linkages for wildlife movement, amazing recreation opportunities, incredible pristine vistas, and much more. (VIEW VIDEO)
I did some aerial photography of San Diego's backcountry last Wednesday. John Grasberger piloted his Robinson R44 along the San Diego River to its headwaters near Julian. We got some great shots of this rugged terrain including deep canyons with waterfalls and the jagged ridge of the South Rim Conservation Area. San Diego County has spectacular landscapes and preserving them for all to enjoy is the mission of the San Diego River Park Foundation.
I am excited about building this new Zenfolio photography website. It will display portfolios such as the Digital Serigraph series above as well as portfolios for Environmental Portraits, Photo Journalism, Travel, Sports & Recreation. I am particularly interested in using this site to offer a special photo service that incorporates my skills as a documentary filmmaker to create photojournalist style stories of your family, friends and colleges doing what they do best, whether sports, art, music, hobbies, leisure, career. The candid images from location photo sessions can be edited to create beautiful hardcover portfolios.
This site is a work in progress and I will be adding new images on a regular basis.
